Last night CSP was happy to be a part of the Men’s Mental Health Panel hosted by CMHA Calgary at Fresh Start Recovery. Librarian and Writer Robert Olson spoke on behalf of the organization and highlighted many of the facts surrounding the suicide rates of men and the reasons that they are the group at the highest risk for suicide.

“For every female suicide there are 3 male suicides” – Robert Olson, CSP

There was a good turn out considering it was also the night of the election and the hockey game; it was encouraging to see so many who are concerned about mental health in men and boys!
