This year CSP is excited to be participating in the “Horses Jump to Give a Leg Up” Program run by Spruce Meadows and sponsored by the Calgary Sun and Conoco-Phillips.

The “Leg Up” program is a community initiative that invites non-profits to participate in a competition for a chance to win prize money towards their organization.

“Twenty organizations will be selected to create an innovative design on a life-sized fibreglass horse. All of the horses will be unveiled at the ‘National’ Tournament presented by ROLEX, June 3-7, 2015. The decorated horses, stabled at Spruce Meadows for the outdoor tournament season, will be available for purchase in an online auction during the summer months. Bidding will close at the ‘Masters’ Tournament in September.  All proceeds from the sale of each created equine herd will go to the organization behind its imaginative design.” – Text taken from Spruce Meadows website

CSP would like to thank Spruce Meadows for this great opportunity. We’ll be posting lots about our horse, who we named “Ned” which stands for “Nothing but EDucation,” which is what we do here at CSP, so stay tuned!
