Of 118 deaths by accident in children under 15 yrs. of age (88 boys & 30 girls). Motor accidents were the main cause of death while drowning, burns & accidents in the home in areas of lower standard of living were important. Breakdown by cause is given. Three suicides were committed by 10-12 yr. old boys. More emphasis on safety & detoxication of the gas would have saved lives.
