Abstract
Young People, Crises and Suicidal Behaviour – Through the Eyes of the Researcher and Henrik Ibsen
Groholt B
This article opens with a scene from Ibsen’s play “The Wild Duck” in which a young girl in acute crisis impulsively kills herself. The question of whether one crisis is sufficient to trigger suicidal behaviour is examined in some detail through an analysis of this play & findings from recent research. (8 refs.)
