Coming Together to Care: a Suicide Prevention and Postvention Toolkit for Texas Communities

This suicide prevention toolkit for Texas communities was developed by the Texas Suicide Prevention Community Network. It provides information regarding suicide in general (including myths about suicide & risk & protective factors) & in Texas in particular. The authors suggest possible methods for organizing effective suicide prevention efforts, & identify best practices for community-based prevention, intervention, and education initiatives.
