Abstract
A Serial Murderer Learns to Regain Volition by Recognizing the Aura of his Partial Seizures of “Limbic Psychotic Trigger Reaction”
Pontius A A
The author examines the case of a serial murderer whom he argues committed all his homicides during a fleeting psychosis, & who, after recognizing the fatal meaning of his “premonition signs,” was eventually able to resist committing further homicides. The author discusses the patientÕs own belief in a never-suspendable free will, which led him to declare his own guilt & seek punishment either through the death penalty or suicide. (28 refs)
