This study examined the effectiveness of Project Chrysalis, a comprehensive school-based program designed to provide abused female adolescents with a supportive & nurturing network of services. Results show that those attending Project Chrysalis reported fewer suicidal ideations & behaviors. It was also shown that the prevalence of depression & risk for suicide was higher among younger participants. Further findings & their implications are discussed. (26 refs)
