Explores whether individuals who are able to taste phenylthiocarbamide differ from those who are not. An incidental finding was that tasters did not differ from non tasters in a history of thinking about suicide (r = 0.13), threatening suicide (r = 0.04), or attempting suicide (r = 0.08). (2 refs)
