This article describes the case of a 45 year-old terminally ill woman in Britain who is challenging the euthanasia law. Implications of her lawsuit for other people who want physician-assisted suicide are included. Results from a survey of 750 general practitioners (that found 46% supported a change in the law to allow doctors to comply with requests from terminally ill patients who wanted to end their lives) are also commented upon.
