An Evaluation of the California Suicide Intervention Training Program in Fresno County

This research study sought to ascertain the extent to which the California Suicide Intervention Training Program met the needs of caregivers. Three self-administered questionnaires (copied included) were mailed to 141 workshop participants (return rate: 44%). Questions determined characteristics of participants, current attitudes toward suicide, current level of suicide knowledge, & satisfaction with course content (courses attended 1987-89). Report includes literature review & recommendations.
