This article discusses the morality of assisted suicide by physicians. The author asserts that assisted suicide is justifiable under certain conditions. The doctor should have a thorough knowledge of the patient’s medical history, determine if the patient is suffering from depression, discuss alternatives in length, &, if the patient is ill, ensure that all medical treatment options have been explored.
