Depression in adolescents & suicidal threats & acts have become an increasing focus in professional publications. This has also become a concern of practitioners. This paper discusses adolescents in a residential treatment centre in Canaan, New York, who have manifested such symptoms & reactions and reviews techniques & program efforts utilized in such crises.
