Abstract
Relationships Among Locus of Control, Coronary-Prone Behavior, and Suicidal Ideation
Froyd J~~Perry N
This study examined how each of two factors, coronary-prone behaviour & locus of control, were related to suicide ideation in a sample of 43 college students. Scores on Rotter’s Internal-External Locus of Control & the Suicidal Ideation Scale were significantly positively correlated. A hypothesis that Type B individuals would have greater suicidal ideation, because of maladaptive coping stratgies, than Type A subjects was not confirmed. (14 refs.)
