Youth Suicide: a School Approach for the Prevention of Youth Suicide in Indiana

This manual presents a school approach for the prevention of youth suicide in the State of Indiana. The introduction discusses the problem & develops a hypothesis of why it exists. Contributing factors are described & guidelines identifying students at risk are given. Information about intervention & prevention is included & suggestions for postvention in schools are offered. Also included are a bibliography, list of survivor’s support groups, a suicide fact sheet, & risk assessment form. (LH)
