Outlines a project carried out at a hospital in The Netherlands which focused on providing psychological care to the suicidal person as soon as possible after an attempt. Detailed findings, including tables, are given. Results clearly show that these are people with primarily psychological problems for whom psychological help is the first requirement. (7 refs) (LH)
