The 5th annual Evan Skowron Memorial Golf Tournament was held virtually throughout the month of September to honour the memory of an amazing son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. This year, the tournament raised over $11,500 – thank you to all who participated and donated to suicide prevention in memory of Evan Skowron.

We’re excited to announce that today we will be hosting our first suicide intervention workshop in our new Learning Centre! Thank you to the Kahanoff Centre for funding the renovations that made this Centre possible.

Thanks to the City of Calgary’s Emergency Resiliency Fund (ERF) the Centre for Suicide Prevention was able to subsidize workshop prices between July 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017.
