Sunday, September 10

Mysterious Barricades Concert
University of Calgary, Rozsa Centre
Calgary, Alberta

Mara Grunau, Executive Director, spoke at the Calgary concert at the University of Calgary which was one of several happening all across the country. From dawn til dusk on World Suicide Prevention Day, there was a continuous livestream of concerts across Canada to commemorate the day.

Monday, September 11

We released our 2016 Annual Report and our latest resource publication, an editorial on the Zero Suicide Movement.

September 12-14

We were happy to be able to offer our four free workshops this week: safeTALK: suicide alertness for everyone, Straight Talk: Preventing suicide in youth, Tattered Teddies: Preventing suicide in children, and Suicide to Hope: Recovery and growth
