The aim of this study is to determine the frequency of various methods of suicide in Eastern Mediterranean Region by a systematic review and meta-analysis. We found out that the 3 most common methods of suicide in EMR are hanging, poisoning, and self-immolation. These methods are estimated to account for 77.4% of all methods of suicide in EMR.
