During the mid-20th Century, thousands of Aboriginal children were taken from the care of their birth parents and put up for adoption, mostly to white middle class families in Canada and the United States. The Sharing Circle looks at cross-cultural adoption, coming home, and its effects on the birth families, adoptive parents, and the adopted themselves.
