This pamphlet provides information on replicating postvention work online. Responsible postvention initiatives should utilize social networking sites to: 1) distribute relevant information & resources, & 2) monitor comments from individuals connected to the bereaved for indications of suicide risk. Those overseeing these efforts should collaborate with parents & guardians to ensure that they monitor their children’s use of social media & work with families to bypass any privacy settings that would prohibit these activities.
