Evaluation of Phase 2 (2006-08) of the Choose Life Strategy and Action Plan

Scotland’s Choose Life suicide prevention strategy & action plan was launched in 2002. This document provides the results from the second evaluation of the strategy. The objectives of the evaluation were to examine: progress against the original aim; whether the lessons of Phase 1 had been implemented & to what extent; & how successful Choose Life had been on influencing suicide prevention strategy, policy, & practice in local partnerships, & across a range of relevant public sector bodies. The evaluation also makes recommendations for the future direction & priorities of Choose Life.
