New Zealand Suicide Prevention Action Plan 2008-2012. Report on Progress: Year One

This report provides a snapshot of the key developments in the first year of New Zealand’s national suicide prevention strategy. The introduction provides an outline of the latest suicide statistics & trends, & information about the structures set up to implement the Action Plan. Part One discusses progress in implementing key action areas for each of the 7 goals of the Action Plan. Part Two contains a table summarising progress made on the milestones set for the actions in the Action Plan. Each action is given a rating & a brief note is made about progress & implementation for the Maori population.
