Electroencephalographic Changes in Suicidal Patients – a Preliminary Study of 30 Cases

The results of a comparison study of the electroencephalographic pattern of 30 patients prior to, after a week, & 3 months after they had attempted suicide were discussed in this presentation. Qualitative & quantitative data analyses were done. As this was a preliminary study, no definitive conclusions were reached but it was suggested studies of this nature have a role to play in diagnosis & psychiatric treatment.
