The authors developed a group training for patients with suicide ideation as an addition to regular treatment. The training was based on cognitive-behavioural approaches of hopelessness, worrying, & future perspective. In collaboration with each paticipant in the training, individual positive future possibilities & goals were challenged. The effects of the program on suicide ideation will be evaluated. The study design will be a randomized controlled trial with treatment-as-usual & treatment-as-usual & the training. Follow-up will happen 12 months after the first assessment. (53 refs.)
