Northern Territory Suicide Prevention Action Plan 2009-2011

This Action Plan builds on existing initiatives responding to suicide & self-harm & follows the key directions of the 2003 framework. The main objectives of the 2009-2011 plan are to: strengthen wellbeing across the Northern Territory; support initatives that reduce risk factors & promote positive protective factors; improve the ability of services, systems, & support networks to meet the needs of high-risk groups; strengthen effective responses to individuals at particular risk; provide culturally appropriate programs: & build the evidence base, share good practice, & provide education & training.
