The purpose of this chapter is to describe the various engagement methods a commuter campus used to encourage the participation of target populations in key suicide prevention activities. The focus of the paper is on implementation rather than the outcomes of the program. The methods used to engage staff & students included campus clinical screening, mental health promotion, gatekeeper training, & suicide awareness workshops.
