Annirusuktugut: a Suicide Intervention and Prevention Strategy for the Government of Nunavut

This document outlines the suicide intervention & prevention strategy of the Government of Nunavut. The six objectives of the strategy are: to provide culturally relevant & effective programs & services; to strengthen the working relationship with the Embrace Life Council to identify & address the needs of communities more effectively; improved government programming to promote healthy lifestyles; improved community awareness of available suicide prevention & health promotion programs & services; centralized & comprehensive information gathering; & strengthened & continuous interdepartmental collaboration within the government.
