A Staff Guide for Responding to Suicidal/Self-Harming Young People in a School Setting

This document is intented to build upon existing skills & resources already present in Scottish schools for suicide intervention, prevention, & postvention. It is designed to be used alongside existing protocols to assist students deemed at risk & enable staff to intervene appropriately in a suicide crisis. It contains guidelines for good practice & offers sample resources that may require alteration to suit local needs.
