The Evidence-Based Practices Project for suicide prevention was created in 2002 to identify & promote evidence-based suicide prevention programs. This paper discusses the process & outcomes of the initial project within the context of the broader evidence-based movement & the creation of a best practice registry for suicide prevention is previewed.
