Asthma, Suicidal Ideation, and Suicide Attempts: Findings From the Baltimore Epidemiologic Catchment Area Dollow-Up

This study examines cross-sectional & longitudinal associations between asthma, suicidal ideation, & suicide attempt among adult in Baltimore. Data was drawn from 3 waves from the Epidemiologic Catchment Area study. Logistic regression analysis was also analysed. Results show asthma is associated with increased odds of suicidal ideation & suicide attempt. The author concludes that the research provided through this study will aid future research studies.
