This project utilized grounded theory methodology & feminist research practices to examine the experiences of queer identified youth & young adults who are living, or have lived, in foster care in Manitoba. A literature review covers topics such as harassment, abuse, & mental health, suicide rates in this population, queer youth & the foster care system, & homelessness. (51 refs.)
