The Stigma for Attempting Suicide and the Loss to Suicide Prevention Efforts

This short report asks why individuals who have attempted suicide are not at the forefront of efforts to prevent suicide. The authors assert the answer may lie in the fact that attempted suicide is stigmatized in American society. (4 refs.)
