This graphic novel tells the story of Kyle, an Aboriginal youth struggling with thoughts of suicide. Kyle is being bullied at school & also has problems at home. An Elder helps Kyle see the power within himself by telling him a story of a struggle between Wihtiko, a demon spirit, & Wesakecak, a medicine man, for Kyle’s spirit. Through the story, Kyle realizes his ability to help not only Wesakecak when he is about to be overcome but also, through his drawing & wisdom, himself & other young people.
