Polednak A P
In this letter to the editor, the author reports on an analysis of suicide rates among women who have had breast reconstruction surgery after mastectomy. The 5-year cumulative death rates from both suicide & accidents in the postmastectomy reconstruction group were similar to those for all other breast cancer patients & also the subgroup that had mastectomy without reconstruction.
