A closer analysis was done on all postmortems performed on juveniles who died by suicide at the age of 20 or less during the period 1998-2003. A double suicide of a young couple in Berlin, who met on the Internet, is presented as a representative case. The authors emphasise that in view of the danger of imitation, the media should exercise restraint in describing details of particular cases, especially when reporting about the suicides of young people.
