The objective of this paper is to introduce the term ‘unacted suicide behaviour’ & to simultaneously propose not to adopt the word ‘aborted suicide’ in the nomenclature of suicide behaviour. This is a response to the call that was made by O’Carroll in 1996. (7 refs.)(CH)
