Turned Upside Down: Developing Community-based Crisis Services for 16-25-year-olds Experiencing a Mental Health Crisis

This report presents the results of qualitative research undertaken to develop conceptual models of community-based crisis services for 16-25-year-olds in the United Kingdom. Chapters include the views of young people who have experienced a mental health crisis, professionals’ views on mental health crisis provision for young people, young people’s ideas for crisis services, conceptual models of community-based crisis services, principles for developing these services, a plan for involving young people in their development, & recommendations.
