“Death Talk”: Debating Euthanasia and Physician-assisted Suicide in Australia

In this article, the author discusses her impressions & responds to the discussion of euthanasia & physician-assisted suicide that took place at the Australian Medical Association Annual General Meeting in May 2002. Also in this article, the author emphasizes the proper use of words when discussing the issue of euthanasia in order to avoid inadvertently opening the way for the legislation of euthanasia.
