In this report, Section II A presents an effective suicide prevention program, which requires a comprehensive, multi-faceted mental health approach. Section II B identifies risk factors that lead to suicidal behaviour among the student population as being critical to the development of an effective suicide prevention plan. Section II C of this report presents sample profiles of the university student at risk. Section II D provides information on the incidence of suicide. Section II E includes a series of recommendations aimed at suicide prevention. (LC)
