This review identifies factors impact on suicide risk for Operation Iraqi Freedom Soldiers & makes recommendations to assist with suicide prevention efforts. This review also provides an analysis of Army suicides occurring in Iraq & Kuwait between January & October 2003 by male & female Active & Reserve Component Soldiers as well as, provides a highly proactive suicide risk assessment for a deployed military force, conducted during an on-going military operation.
