The author summarizes a report describing the effects of the presentation of suicide in the media. The research attempted to determine how the image of suicide is presented in the media, whether there is a difference in response between survivors of suicide & non-survivors, what action subjects might take in response to media presentations of suicide, & what, if any, differences exist in how men & women respond to media representations of suicide.
