The authors highlight the methodology and findings of a study that examined (a) whether the coping responses of adolescents who had made a recent attempt would differ in systematic ways from those of a matched psychiatric comparison group, & (b) whether certain coping responses were associated with a greater likelihood of relapse of suicidal symptoms across a 2-year follow-up.
