Young Males and Risk Taking Project: Report to the Injury Prevention Policy Unit, Health Promotion Branch, NSW Health

The authors conducted a systematic review of existing literature reviews identifying interventions that have been shown to reduce/prevent risk taking behaviours among young males. 12 reviews fitting the inclusion criteria were identified. Narrative summaries of each article are included in the text & critical appraisals are provided in appendices. Limitations of the studies are identified & recommendations for effective interventions to reduce risk taking behaviour among males are presented, based on the findings of the best quality reviews.
