Final Report of the European Review of Suicide and Violence Epidemiology (EUROSAVE) Project

The objectives of EUROSAVE were: (1) to conduct a systematic review of the published literature on suicide & parasuicide; (2) to identify & evaluate the quality of existing European data sources for suicide & parasuicide; (3) to investigate recent epidemiological trends in suicide & parasuicide; & (4) to make explicit recommendations on information quality, highlighting deficiencies in routine data. The findings of the literature review & resulting practice recommendations are presented in this report. (53 refs)
