Attempted Suicide Among Adolescents: Study Methodology

This document outlines the research methodology used in a study of attempted suicide among adolescents in Newfoundland & Labrador. Data was collected on hospitalizations related to suicide attempts among youth aged 10-19 during 1998-2000. Unique care episodes were considered in order to avoid double-counting of cases.
