This discussion paper represents the discussions of the Aboriginal Mental Health ‘Best Practices’ Working Group, sponsored by the Mental Health Evaluation & Community Consultation Unit (Mheccu) of the University of British Columbia, based on their viewpoints & the current literature available in the area of Aboriginal Mental Health. It identifies priority areas of concern in Aboriginal mental health practice & records the working group’s recommendations for best practice in these areas. (216 refs)
