This article explores what effects the U.S. Air Force (USAF) Suicide Prevention Program had on reducing suicide rates among Air Force personnel. It also examines how the Program affected other violence-related behaviours, including family abuse, homicide, & deaths from unintentional injuries. The findings of an evaluation by University of Rochester researchers regarding the efficacy of the program are also presented.
