The authors comment on a study by J Breton et al., which examined differences in the correlates of suicidal ideation in early adolescence as reported by children & their parents, & identified 2 informant-specific models of correlates based on their findings. The current authors review the findings of Breton et al., identify some of the methodological limitations of their study, & highlight directions for future research.
