This article investigates the phenomena of suicide pacts between strangers meeting over the internet & planning their deaths via special suicide websites, which is in contrast to traditional suicide pacts that usually involve people with close relationships. The potential negative role of the Internet in relation to suicides is discussed. (13 refs)
