This article examines the mental health of the older immigrant population in the United Kingdom. Problems related to the assessment of dementia & depression in this population is identified & the prevalence, pattern, presentation, & course of each illness are examined. Suicide is discussed, along with service utilization & caregiving strategies. (41 refs)
